Greeting
Upon entering our office, you will be greeted by our friendly, helpful staff. They will be a compassionate guide to help in making your experience at our office easy and relaxing!

Brief Paperwork
We will have some brief paperwork for you to fill out (or you could download the paperwork by clicking here and save yourself some time). The paperwork provides us with information that will help us determine what your health needs are.

Consultation
Once the paperwork has been completed, you will be guided to a comfortable consultation room to meet your Doctor. He or she will listen to you and discuss your health-related problems, concerns, potential treatment options, and to see if Chiropractic is the right solution for you. If it is determined that you are not a Chiropractic case, the Doctor will refer you to the proper specialist. The Doctor’s straight-forward consultation will not waste your time or your money. We are sure that you will find the Doctors to be kind and compassionate about your health issues. How refreshing!

History and Examination
In order to determine what your actual problem is, you will be asked various questions related to your overall health. Next, a spinal evaluation and several orthopedic and neurological examinations will be performed; including specialized testing that will help determine the health of your spine and nervous system. This test is called a Surface EMG.

X-ray Studies
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to see exactly where the problem is. When X-rays are required, only the necessary views are taken, and the information gathered from them help you get better results! Patients appreciate the diligence taken in determining the exact location of their problems. X-ray eliminates guessing. X-rays can also rule out more serious conditions and assist us in getting you better – QUICKER!

At this point, you may either begin your care, or may be rescheduled for your first adjustment/treatment. This decision is at the Doctor’s discretion.

Schedule Your Next Appointment
Upon completion of your examinations you will be guided to the checkout counter to schedule your next appointment. This next appointment is important. You will be provided with a complete explanation of your exam and X-ray findings (if X-rays were taken). It is recommended that your spouse/significant other attend as well. The reason this is important is because we have found that, many times, the spouses take such an interest in the findings that we end up explaining the findings again because the spouse wasn’t there the first time! It helps the family get better results when the health issues are fully understood.

Day Two

Recommended Action Plan
Based on the findings from your previous consultation and examinations, your Doctor will determine if, and to what degree your case will benefit from care at Arizona Chiropractic Center. If your case is accepted, you will receive a gentle adjustment/treatment on this visit as well.

Also on this visit, your Recommended Action Plan will be explained. The Doctor will make their best recommendation for care and you will be presented with a plan designed to provide you with optimal results.
